CAMPOSANTO

Curated by MARTELLATE PROJECT by Marcello Maloberti
in collaboration with Raffaella Cortese, Milan–Albissola
Featuring works from the Gregotti Collection and by Marcello Maloberti

The first curatorial project conceived by MARTELLATE PROJECT by Marcello Maloberti and realized in collaboration with Raffaella Cortese, CAMPOSANTO is a walking tour through our private home gallery, organized into 14 Stations of the Cross and based on the Gregotti family’s art collection.

Each station consists of a diptych of works, selected to create a direct dialogue between 20th-century masters including Giorgio de Chirico, Arturo Martini, Amedeo Modigliani, Giorgio Morandi, and Mario Sironi and works of sacred art. The exhibition also features two works by Marcello Maloberti, which bring a contemporary perspective to the exhibition.

The rooms of Casa Gregotti, once the residence of entrepreneur and collector Quinto Gregotti (1896–1976), thus return through CAMPOSANTO to connect the historical legacy of the collection with subsequent generations of artists.
