THE HOUSE
The apartment at Via Bonaventura Cavalieri 8, once the residence of entrepreneur and art
collector Quinto Gregotti (1896–1976), has been transformed into a cultural space that
emphasizes the Gregotti family's historical connection with 20th-century and contemporary art.
In the 1960s, Quinto Gregotti asked for the advice of his nephew Vittorio for the layout of his
home, trusting the young 36-year-old architect who was, at that time, at the beginning of his
career.
Sixty years later, the apartment underwent a careful and sympathetic restoration that updated and enhanced it. Today, this unique space is intended to host exhibitions, events, and site-specific
projects in collaboration with art galleries, artists, and designers, creating a continuous dialogue
between past and present.
Located over two floors for a total of 300 square meters, the apartment includes five exhibition rooms on the lower floor and offices on the upper floor. The environment, enriched by designer
furnishings, can be altered to suit the different exhibitions and projects.
To complete the experience, the kitchen, furnished with Knoll design elements, represents the
heart of activities that intertwine art and gastronomy, hosting invitation-only dinners and show cooking in a refined and stimulating context.
